So we've been on vacation if you haven't guess it by all my tweets over on the right side of my blog! we had an amazing time touring Boston, Cape Cod, Plymouth, Kennebunkport ME, Bar Harbor ME and Portland ME - so much BEAUTY!! God is truly amazing! Pictures to come later!
Brian headed to Kentucky to work not even 12 hours after getting home and was worried about me because he recently found out that while he's away I don't eat very well - I'll just eat whatever is fast and quick out of the cupboard - like a bag of M&M's for dinner...yes they were good - but not good for me! So he told me to make sure and eat dinner tonight...so I thought I would share my dinner with you!
This is a meal that we got off of www.e-mealz.com it's a site that takes your local grocery store ad's and makes 7 dinners out of it for CHEAP! If you want to see a sample menu let me know I'll be more than happy to email one to you. Anyways.... Here is the recipe: BBQ Turkey Pizza (this is a weight watchers approved pizza - YAY!)
1/2 c. BBQ sauce (I use sweet baby rays - cause it's awesome!) 1 large Boboli whole wheat pizza crust 9 oz pkg deli sliced smoked turkey, diced 1/2 purple onion - thinly sliced (I chopped mine since i like to cut my fingers off when I slice onions ;)) 8 oz part skim shredded mozzarella cheese
Pre-heat oven to 350' Spread 3 Tablesppons of BBQ sauce on pizza crust Arrange diced turkey on BBQ sauce then layer onions. Drizzle remaining BBQ sauce over onions.
Cover pizza with cheese Bake 20 minutes Cut pizza into 6 slices. Each piece is 6 points on the weight watchers plan
YUMMINESS!!!
Let me know if you try this recipe - we LOVE it!! (P.S. I forgot to add the rest of the BBQ sauce over the onions - it was still good but it totally needs the rest of it - don't forget to add it!!)
(you can watch that and know why I titled this post "Hello Hello Hello" ;) Facebook reader's you might actually have to head to my blog to see the video - not quite sure ;) the address is http://magpiemsal.blogger.com )
Yes, I am a blog ignoring liar - I really need to stop saying that I am going to blog and try to keep up with this blog and then I don't....so no more lying - I might try and blog here, and I might not - you'll just have to check back and see if I've written anything worth value ;) LOL
So I really just wanted to update people on our life more than anything - I felt bad that I said something to my friend Mary the other day and she had NO CLUE what I was talking about - um...oops! SO here goes...
JULY: Brian accepted a job in the Columbia MO area - and started on July 13th - thankfully he was able to travel home on the weekends for a while ;) I also gave notice at my job that EVENTUALLY I would be quitting ;) We had 2 Realtors come and look at our house and tell us that they would list the house DRASTICALLY lower that what we even owe on it. YIKES! We decided that I would live here while we are trying to sell the house - and Brian would live in MO - but for a 6 month period of time - and if the house sold or not I would move at that point.
AUGUST: Pretty much the same as July - Brian Traveled between Here, Missouri & Nashville - home most weekeneds - YAY for me ;)
SEPTEMBER: yep the same - but we finally got the house on the market. I also started a new business with a reputable kitchenware company and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it :)
OCTOBER: Brian officially moved to MO into a company owned apartment (can you say FREE? YAY) and we had our first look at the house - unannounced - grrr....I was home sick that day, in my jammies, laying on the couch, dishes in the sink - you get the picture? Let's just say I wasn't very happy when I had to ask the people to wait outside while I threw some clothes on and frantically went through the house and threw things in the proper places - then while they looked at the house I went outside and ummm...said some "words" to our Realtor. I also traveled for the first time down to where Brian is living and saw the area.
NOVEMBER: Brian was able to come home for Thanksgiving and we hosted my siblings here
DECEMBER: We had an open house and had 1 - yes 1 person show up and look at the house - we thought he was REALLY interested - he looked at the house for over 45 minutes - but haven't heard anything since :( Brian came home for a few days over Christmas - then I went there for New Years
JANUARY: We finally talked about me moving - and decided that I would move in March - because the house has officially been on the market for 6 months at that time - so I put my final notice in at work letting them know that March 4th would be my last day.
FEBRUARY: FINALLY ANOTHER LOOK AT THE HOUSE (have you been counting? it's 3 in total)! and our Realtor actually showed the house - wow - it only took how many months for her to actually get someone in here? gah.... but yeah...a look and that was it :( We haven't heard anything else from the person or our Realtor. Brian came back to get our taxes done and we did a "walk through" of the house of which items that we'll be packing, and what things the movers will be packing and storing for 2 months (we get free storage for 2 months - so we'll be taking advantage of that ;)) We'll stay at the apartment where Brian is living until we can get rid of the house (there are a few options that we are looking at right now) or for 2 months - then we will move into a townhouse/duplex type rental.
So whew....that's what's going on with us. Please continue to pray that we can get rid of the house - one way or another ;) and that the move in March goes smoothly.
next week is my last week at the church I work for, and I'm actually really excited to quit - because it means that the move is REALLY HAPPENING ;) I can't wait to be with my husband again and be a WIFE again ;) People are shocked that I tell them that it will actually be NINE months that we've lived apart by the time I actually move - it hasn't been the best thing for us or our relationship - We are both excited about getting to know each other again and renew our love for each other - we've actually made plans to do a study together on marriage once we are living in the same place again ;)
So there are big plans in motion for the Msal's! I hope this has caught everyone up and nobody else will be "shocked" when I say something to them ;) lol
