http://www.mychurch.org/events/viewevent.php?c=113028&id=11658&no=1 The Bethel University Symphony Orchestra will be giving the final concert of their upper Midwest tour here in our sanctuary! A freewill offering wil be taken. The orchestra presents a diverse program: Concerto Grosso for String Orchestra with Piano Obbligato by Ernest Bloch, C.P.E. Bach's Concerto in d minor for Flute, Take My Life and Let It Be Consencrated, arr. by Bethel's Jonathan Veenker, as well as pieces by Kodaly, Sibelius, and Britten. Wes Tanaka, from our congregation, is one of the cellists in the orchestra. At approximately one hour in length, this is a perfect opportunity to expose a child to symphony music. |
