10:42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Almost everyone knows the acronym WWJD stands for W.hat W.ould J.esus D.o, but I'd like to start another acronym WWLJ.  W.ho W.as L.ike J.esus?

So, if you catch someone being Christ-like share the story here.  You can use names if you like.

I love this idea and I will gladly be a part of this! There are so many people in our church who fit this in my eyes, including the Fry family!! Thanks for the thought because these are the kinds of things I like to think on!

I can't even imagine all the hats he wears, all of the fires he puts out, all of the people he mourns with or celebrates with, all of the ideas he has seen to fruition, all of the praying he's done for us, all of the sacrifices he's made for us, all of the organizing, planning, studying, counseling, refereeing and all the other stuff that he does EVERY WEEK. I'm sure there are mountains of things he's done that we don't and won't ever know about, but in the meantime, THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU PASTOR BOB for all of your tireless effort in making Graceway the amazing church that it is!!!! We love and appreciate you very much!!

I appreciate the gentlemen that meet us at the doors every week. I know there is always a "howdy" coming from Harold Schroeder, and a hand shake from any of several others including, but no limited to, Scott B, Cliff Kirby, and if Doc Sewell is around him too. Thanks for your diligence guys in making people feel welcome on their way in to church!

Sometimes getting from the second grade Sunday school classroom to downstairs and in church for choir cuts my time really short. Today I was back there with one minute to go. Randy already had my robe for me to put on and the other girls made sure my flaps were straight and I looked in order!! Thanks to those that helped me getting ready in a flash!

December 02, 2007
I sat out in the crowd today instead of being in the choir and I just wanted to let all the choir members know how fantastic they sounded! It was awesome because we sat on the second row and with the voices coming from behind us mixed with the choir service it was like surround sound spiritual style....

Connie Kelley deserves the WWLJ award today. She is the major brains behind our church's Angel Food Network site. Her organization skills and dedication cease to amaze me, especially when she juggles 50 or more orders not to mention all the bonus orders! We've been told that Graceway's site is the best in Springfield! Way to go, Connie!!!!

Tassi slaved over taco meat, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, and more to make Lunch Bunch a success. Lots of others did a lot of work to make it a lot of fun too! I appreciate it all. Wasn't it cool to hear Pastor say MyChurch today from the pulpit and during announcements?

January 06, 2008
Sometimes it was funny because it sounded like he was calling Graceway... 'mychurch'.. 'mychurch'... :o) But not as funny as when he told us to love selfishly.

At the drama breakfast this morning I noticed a sweet little girl named Josie comforting a little girl who was afraid and crying. Thank you Josie for helping Kirsten when she was afraid of the big chiken rooster thing. You are a sweetie! Thank you Tassi for making me laugh this morning,I won't say why.:)

Oh, heavens! I didn't know Kirsten was afraid of the rooster/chicken thing! I will have to give her big kisses and hugs tomorrow. Of course, it didn't help that Clay tried to eat the poor rooster/chicken thing. She'll have visions of that knife and fork for years of therapy to come. LOL!

What about Tassilyn Fry? She takes time each week to convert the sermons from CD format to mp3 format, uploads them to the website, and keeps the "menu" of sermon titles up to date. I know for a fact people have attended and even joined Graceway as a result of those online sermons. Former members who now live in other states have been able to stay connected to the church. And even our missionaries all over the world have emailed me telling me how much the availability of those sermons has meant to them. So thanks, Tassi, for your faithful, behind-the-scenes media ministry.
