| I love this idea and I will gladly be a part of this! There are so many people in our church who fit this in my eyes, including the Fry family!! Thanks for the thought because these are the kinds of things I like to think on! |
| I know of a certain lady that donated her time and talent to help take pictures for the church directory! Her initials are RL! |
| Oh, it is like a 'caught-you-being-good'! Julianna has those at school sometimes. This is a great idea. |
| I know of a husband and wife that donate of their time each month to prepare a meal for the Finance Committee meeting. Thank you Randy & Teresa! |

| I'd like to mention Dan & Ailene Perry. They are always saying the sweetest things to me and about the choir. Thgey are SO encouraging and uplifting. A real super couple. |

| Dozens of people spent their own time and own money to dress themselves and their vehicles up to be a blessing to neighborhood and Graceway children at Trunk or Treat. |
| A certain bank robber ordered pizza to feed the starving masses at Trunk or Treat. |
| Some guy served cocoa & cappuccino at Trunk or Treat.
Someone popped popcorn for hours.
Someone ran the snack table.
Someone judged costumes. |

| Nathan does a great job as our Youth Pastor. |
| A certain someone spent hours researching and obtaining licensing to do 'Graceway Live'. He also spends time each week preparing the music for the services. A BIG thank you to Pastor Rob for his faithful service. You bless me every week with the music and with Sunday School lessons. |
| A certain someone ordered pizza at trunk or treat and then let me partake of some because I was HUNGRY, thanks Randy and Tassi!!! :) |
| A certain someone worked tirelessly for hours and days and probably weeks preparing the youth for that outstanding program last Sunday night. Thanks AJ!!!! You're making a huge, eternal difference in the lives of all of those kids and all that love them!! |
| I can't even imagine all the hats he wears, all of the fires he puts out, all of the people he mourns with or celebrates with, all of the ideas he has seen to fruition, all of the praying he's done for us, all of the sacrifices he's made for us, all of the organizing, planning, studying, counseling, refereeing and all the other stuff that he does EVERY WEEK. I'm sure there are mountains of things he's done that we don't and won't ever know about, but in the meantime, THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU PASTOR BOB for all of your tireless effort in making Graceway the amazing church that it is!!!! We love and appreciate you very much!! |
| I know some ladies that stayed late after the Circle of Friends fellowship to cleanup and do dishes. Some didn't get home until 11:00! Well, I'm assuming they went home after leaving the church...
Kim Stephenson, Cindy Neufeld, Sarah Robertson, Mary Pope |
| Julie Wright also made a wonderful soup! |
| I just want to thank Pastor Nathan for answering my questions and also going the extra mile to expound on personal applications. I love to talk about the out of the ordinary stuff and I really enjoyed him sharing with me. Thank Pastor Nathan |
| Christy helped us after church tonight. Tassi & James were being mobbed by their fans and I had a Finance Committee meeting to go to. She got Josie out of her class and took her to Tassi. Thanks Christy! |
| There are three Pastors who give extra time each week, that they don't really have, to help teach at Good News Club!! Special Thanks to Pastor Bob, Pastor Rob and Pastor Nate! |
| And thanks again to Christy M. for the awesome bald wig job on Robin tonight AND for allowing that rebel "walk in front of Dr. Sewell while he's giving the announcements" son of mine to sit with them during the show! It was a life-saver to me! |
| And another thank you to Renee and Jonathan R. for documenting on film and tape the show tonight!

| I know several people who take the time to learn songs and practice them for solos at church! I've never been at a church that utilized so much talent from their membership. |

All those that offered to help with Josie.
It's been a whirlwind 28 hours.
God is awesome! |
| I appreciate the gentlemen that meet us at the doors every week. I know there is always a "howdy" coming from Harold Schroeder, and a hand shake from any of several others including, but no limited to, Scott B, Cliff Kirby, and if Doc Sewell is around him too. Thanks for your diligence guys in making people feel welcome on their way in to church! |
| Grace as she showered broken Julianna and little Josie with attention yesterday. |
| I appreciate all the people at church who assist with the Wed. night meals. It's hard enough to feed my own so I know how much work/time it must take to feed 100s of us! |
| Sometimes getting from the second grade Sunday school classroom to downstairs and in church for choir cuts my time really short. Today I was back there with one minute to go. Randy already had my robe for me to put on and the other girls made sure my flaps were straight and I looked in order!! Thanks to those that helped me getting ready in a flash! |
| I sat out in the crowd today instead of being in the choir and I just wanted to let all the choir members know how fantastic they sounded! It was awesome because we sat on the second row and with the voices coming from behind us mixed with the choir service it was like surround sound spiritual style.... |
| Connie Kelley deserves the WWLJ award today. She is the major brains behind our church's Angel Food Network site. Her organization skills and dedication cease to amaze me, especially when she juggles 50 or more orders not to mention all the bonus orders! We've been told that Graceway's site is the best in Springfield! Way to go, Connie!!!! |
| Another WWLJ award goes to all the singers for the Christmas Eve service! |
| A WWLJ goes to Leannah and Cindy for working on getting things setup for our luncheon today while others enjoyed the service.
| Tassi slaved over taco meat, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, and more to make Lunch Bunch a success.
Lots of others did a lot of work to make it a lot of fun too!
I appreciate it all.
Wasn't it cool to hear Pastor say MyChurch today from the pulpit and during announcements? |
| Sometimes it was funny because it sounded like he was calling Graceway... 'mychurch'.. 'mychurch'... :o)
But not as funny as when he told us to love selfishly. |
| At the drama breakfast this morning I noticed a sweet little girl named Josie comforting a little girl who was afraid and crying. Thank you Josie for helping Kirsten when she was afraid of the big chiken rooster thing. You are a sweetie!
Thank you Tassi for making me laugh this morning,I won't say why.:) |
| For that ... you can borrow my antlers! :o) |
| Oh, heavens! I didn't know Kirsten was afraid of the rooster/chicken thing! I will have to give her big kisses and hugs tomorrow.
Of course, it didn't help that Clay tried to eat the poor rooster/chicken thing. She'll have visions of that knife and fork for years of therapy to come. LOL! |

| "Souper Bowl"
(slaps thigh)
HAH! I just got that! |
| What about Tassilyn Fry? She takes time each week to convert the sermons from CD format to mp3 format, uploads them to the website, and keeps the "menu" of sermon titles up to date.
I know for a fact people have attended and even joined Graceway as a result of those online sermons. Former members who now live in other states have been able to stay connected to the church. And even our missionaries all over the world have emailed me telling me how much the availability of those sermons has meant to them.
So thanks, Tassi, for your faithful, behind-the-scenes media ministry. |
| A huge, HUGE "thank you" to Teresa Wells and her fantastic crew of cookers and waiters for a great banquet tonight! WoW! And all those teens who volunteered their time to bus tables!
