Hand to Hand -- a Neighborhood Ministry opportunity
By|October 17, 2007

What if we could drive to local neighborhoods, and pick up people who can’t get to church, and bring them to worship God together. These are folks with low income, many children, and in need. So we also prepare a meal for them, and give them clothes for their children and groceries to eat. Then we take them back to their homes.

Well we can, each 3rd Saturday of every month. This local ministry is called Hand to Hand.Come see it work, meet some of the teens and adults who serve. Meet some of the people served (equally the people brought in from the neighborhoods and those providing) Several churches work together to make this happen and they need help too. These are our neighbors and the place it happens is Maple Grove Christian Church, turn East on Proffitt Rd (across from Airport Rd) from 29 and it is the second church on the right.

Seeing this work will influence and guide our own ministries. This will show us some of what is possible, what is all ready being accomplished, and may illustrate other needs that we are not aware of without seeing this ministry. We won’t know until we go
