Hi folks! Here’s a step-by-step guide to posting on our COF Blog! I hope that this will be used by our community to post life happenings, reflections, recommendations, prayer requests – whatever we need. The benefit is that you can post your news/thoughts/needs and others can respond using the “comments” feature. So, get your blog on!
1) Click on the “My Church” tab.
2) Under the “My Church” tab is blue strip with several menu options. Click on “Blog.”
3) This takes you to our communal blogspace.
4) To post an entry, click on “Write to this church blog.”
5) Give your entry a title and type your message in the space provided. You can use various editing features as provided (e.g. bold, center text, emoticons, etc)
6) At the bottom of the blog entry page you have several options: choose privacy level and a box to check to have it posted to the church blog. If you want others in COF to view your post, make sure the box is checked to post it to the church blog and mark the entry “public.” If you choose “private,” “friends only” and/or uncheck the box to have it posted to the church blog, your entry will be posted to your personal blog but not available for others to view.
7) Click “Submit!”
8) To leave comments on someone’s blog entry, click on “leave a comment” below the entry title and comment away.
