Our Vision:The Church of the Good Shepherd is called by God to seek out, bring home, nurture and feed the people of God in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Our Mission: We respond to this call by:valuing the expression of God through all peoples - sharing the Word of God through the celebration of the Episcopal Liturgy - inviting full participation into the life of our congregation - responding to the needs of our parish and the greater community.
You will find as you enter the church a very old wooded structure, one of the oldest churches in Florida. But right away you will notice the friendliness of the people there and that you are truly welcome. You will feel like you have come home. When you attend one of our services please join us afterwards for our social gathering and coffee in Kirk Hall. We have begun a gathering called the lunch bunch that meets after the 10:00 AM service on the second Wednesday of each month. Each month we have a different theme. Our regular services are on Sunday at 8:00 AM (Rite I) and 10:00AM (Rite II) - family service. The first Sunday of each month is designated as Youth Sunday with the youth of our church taking an active part in the service. Please check our calendar and events for activities in the future. We also are reaching out to the community in other ways. Each year we sponsor a community wide Memorial Day service. Please check back for other events. Please check the calendar on the web site www.churchgoodshepherd.org for current calendar and news information.
