Hi everyone,
Sorry it's been awhile since I have wrote. But as most of you know Garry passed away in May. It has been really hard not having him here. He was the love of my life. But I can tell you one thing, he loved the Lord with all his heart and witnessed to everyone he came in contact with, even at the hospital when he knew he was not going to make it. I want to thank you all for your prayers and support then and now. It is good to know that you have people who love you and care about you. And I have the best kids in the world who love and care about me. Thank you Chad, Candace & Tamara.

| Today is going to be a long day. The other 3 people who work with me in the office are all off today. But it will be quiet around here.

| On many Sunday mornings as I start the morning meeting I will say; God is Good then I wait for the congregation to reply All the Time. I respond with All the Time and wait for the people to answer God is Good. Last week I read a devotion on that little chorus and it got me thinking (if you know me you know how dangerous that can be). Do we really believe that? It's easy to say when we are in a worship setting with other believers or when we have received an answer to a prayer. But what about the times things are not going so great? When we need money to make a house payment, or buy groceries, have a flat tire on our car. Worse yeat what if we have the flu or something worse. We may not recognize His goodness in those situations and pout because God dosen't care about our needs. But He can only be Good that is the essence of His being. If God was only good part-time we would be in a heap of trouble. 2Ki. 20:6 tells of his goodness to Hezikiah. Hezikiah was dying and God added 15 yrs. to his life. In 2003 after my transplant the surgeon told Yevonne that without the surgery I would not have lived another month. God has added at least 5 yrs. to my life and for that I am thankful. He has come through so often in our most desperate times over the last 5yrs. I lost count. Finding the money for my medication, or the house payment, or food. Now as I face uncertainty with my cancer I gladly say God is Good All the Time especially in cancer.
