Wow! Today God is truly with us. Church in the Park was an amazing day. First, this allows our congregation to witness as a group. I believe about midpoint we had as many people from the park involved in activities as we had members of the church. God allowed the clouds to give us shade during the worship and even a hint of sprinkles to allow for a quick clean up. See He knows what He is doing! I was amazed that people from the community were helping clean-up along side members of our church. Many people put a lot of time and energy to make this day a success. Thank you for giving to the Lord. My soul was blessed today. I met a lady who needed a napkin to clean up after her dog. After giving her a couple napkins and a bag, I invited her to eat with us. She brought her three children over to eat and play games. She said they are looking for a church home. Doesn't God make it so easy to share His blessings? So, I guess I could say, "God even uses dogs to bring His word." Remember "All Dogs Go to Heaven." Ha-Ha By the way, Emily, we missed you, but the parks facilitator looks just like you.
