I would like to thank everyone at Christ Chapel that prayed for me this morning. When I put in a prayer request I never expected the entire church to be behind me , literally, while I was annointed and prayed for at the pulpit
I originally asked for prayer for the fibromyalgia I've had for the past 10 years. It's been very hard to do the things I used to do with chronic pain and fatigue. My kids are young and they have disabilities, we'd like to adopt more and open our home to Burmese refugee kids and my mind is much stronger than my body lately. I find it hard to keep up and wish I had the energy I used to have.
My wife and I spent the first 18 years of our marriage wanting children. Once we admitted defeat God decided to intervene and we were involved with a bitter-sweet situation and adopting our son with Down Syndrome. Two years later we got our daughter as a foster child at 2 days old and painfully waited while she was offered to everyone but us. Then, at 51 years old I became the Father of a 2 1/2 year old autistic angel that can be hard to keep up with at times. So now
I find myself wishing for my youth and health along with that energy that seemed to never disappear.
Now more than ever I need God's help with pain relief, and I believe He answers prayers to those who ask. Especially when an entire church asks I know He hears their voice. I truely thank you all for the way you have accepted us into your church. It's great to finally be a part of the Christ Chapel family and I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.
