The Salvation Army of Johnson City, TN. has been serving the Lord since 1910.  Serving Washington, Carter, Unicoi and Greene Counties, we continue to march on with the grace of God. The JC Corps has an 81 bed emergency and transitional housing shelter, 6 thrift stores, a Center of Hope and a full corps program.  What's neatest about our corps is all the unique people/Soldiers who serve the Lord through the Johnson City Corps.  Our ages range from newborn to 100 years old everyone brings so much to the corps family.  We are a corps who still holds all of our traditional Army ways while blending in contemporary experiences.  We still regularly do open air meetings and our soldiers love them.  It is also not uncommon to see one of our soldiers across the street at our shelter on Sunday mornings inviting our residents over for Sunday School and Worship.
