Jonesboro First United Methodist Church is THE church on Main Street in downtown Jonesboro, Georgia.  We have been a part of this community for over 160 years.  Jonesboro has changed a lot over those years, most especially in the last decade as the "Atlanta Metropolitan Area" has expanded south down the I-75 corridor.  As we search for God's plan for us and our ministry, we invite you to join us in a journey of a lifetime:  a journey of faith.  Our mission statement is Gather, Grow, Give, Go.  We take this statement very seriously as we seek to grow close and strong as the body of Christ, learn all we can about the Holy Scripture, and Jesus's teachings, serve each other and our community, and spread the Good News of Gods amazing love and grace to all the world.  Come and see what we're about.  We are a very diverse group of Christians.  You will be welcomed and loved at JFUMC.  Like all United Methodist our hearts, minds and doors are always open!
