This church started out to being the United Evangelical Church in the Philippines. It was brought together through the combine efforts of the following churches:

The United Brethern Church

The Methodist Church

In 1948 Four denominations made up The United Church of Christ in the Philippines. They were the following churches:

The United Brethern Church

The Disciples of Christ

The Congregational Church

Today the United Church of Christ in the Philippines is the 2nd largest denomination in the Philippines. The Catholic Church is the largest denomination in the Philippines. Most of the churches here in the Philippines were the results of American missionaries. We also accept denominations that are part of the World Council of Churches as partner denominations. 

We are not a part of the United Church of Christ in America. We have our own creed and constitution. However, we are similar in our make-up. We do not nor will we ordain those who are practicing immoral behavior. Divorce, Prostitution, Pornography, and Abortion is illeagal in the Philippines. We are a denomination striving to reach the lost here in the Philippines.
