Convergence is a non-denominational and non-traditional church for those who aren't comfortable in "traditional" church. We are "church done differently," and are devoted to culturally- relevant and authentic teaching about Christ. People are invited to learn at their own pace. You'll find Convergence to be an accepting/non-judgmental place for all who come to experience the love of Christ. We are committed to the concepts of passion for Christ and compassion for others...and we believe in investing in the lives of people...one on one for One.

My husband's grandfather passed away on Sunday morning and is now in peace. Thank you for the prayers. His funeral will be tomorrow in Crestview. Please continue to pray for our family as there are several family members that are not handling the death well. Thank you so much for being with us in thoughts and prayers!

I too will be praying for your father-in -law as well as you and your family. My husband and I also each lost a grandparent this year, it's such a difficult thing to go through. You will be in my prayers.

We will continue to pray for Edmond and his release from suffering. I lost my mom a year ago in a battle with cancer and this was our prayer for her as well. Thanks for allowing the Convergence community to join you in prayer. Derek & LeEllen

I was hoping that I could put forth a prayer request. My husband's grandfather, Edmond, whom we're very close with, was diagnosed with cancer last week. He had surgery on Monday and everything went great. Unexpectedly he suffered from a seizure last night and has been unconscious ever since. The doctors apparently have given him maybe 24 hours to live. He's in his 80s and they said that he won't make it through another surgery. My husband and I have come to terms with the idea of him dying, however are very fearful right now that he may be suffering. We would really like prayers to please end his suffering in whatever means that God finds best for him. We love him and just want him to be in peace.

Welcome Jennifer. Yeah, I don't think the concept of "a building as church" was part of what Christ left us with. These people "did church" or "lived church;" they helped others and taught about the Kingdom of God informally. I just hope we never lose sight of that and continue to be in the community trying to live what Jesus taught.

I like the concept of bringing faith and love into the community rather than being trapped behind the 4 walls of a church. I believe in the power of action - as we always hear "actions speak louder than words".
