| Interests Hi my name is Darrell Hickey, I have been a Christian for about 3 years. Before I became a Christian I was rasied by a Jehovah's Witness and a Mormon. So I was pretty confused before I met my wife. She was rasied going to Fruitvale and Riverlakes. She helped me in my faith along with listening to KDUV and Pastor Ron's sermons on the radio. My wife's name is Karen and we have two kids. Matthew is almost 4 and Emma is almost 3. When Matthew was born I really started to think that I needed to change my priorites. We tried Calvary Bible a couple of times but it was not for us. So I decided to not go anywhere. I continued to listen to Christian music but also continued to drink, curse and sin. The music finally got me (or Jesus I should say), I gave my life to Christ listening to a pastor on KDUV. The birth of my daughter made it hard to go to church so we waited another year. I have been going to VBF since March 2006. The first time we went it was our church.
I work for a Architect here in Bakersfield. I enjoy going to church, camping and motorcycle riding. I love listening to christian music. |
