"Go to this people and say: Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not percieve; For the hearts of this people have grown dull.  Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them."                                                                                     
Acts 28:26-27

God speaks to the hearts of those who will not let go of their old ways.  He says they reject Me and make themselves blind to what I show them and deaf to what I say to them, because they don't want Me.  They don't want to change and turn from their old ways; they don't want to be healed.

Today, I hear the cries of the churches.  Fire! Fire! God give us Your Fire!  Why are our churches filled with gossips and split by petty denominational boundries?  Why don't our people minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ?  Why is are our schools full of kids who are consumed with hate, sexual immorality, drugs, and suicide?  Why are thousands of innocent, unborn children slaughtered each day?  Why is homosexuality spreading like a rapid disease, twisting the minds of our young people, and infecting even our church pulpits?  
Why?!? Do you want to know WHY!?!  We are why!  The church says they want change and reform.  We say we want Jesus to heal us, to give us a passion for the lost and this world, yet we live our lives like the world in blatent, open sin.  God says,"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear you." (Isaiah 59:2)

Church, the Bible says that we are to hate sin and Love God, but do you know what we have done?  We have embraced sin and rejected God.  We have not absolutely surrendered everything we are to the will of God, and because of that there is no change.  Our churches will die, and if they continue to reject God, everyone around us will burn in Hell for eternity.  Christ died so that this would not be so.  So why do we invalidate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ by loving sin? I beg you please!  Let us trun from our sinful ways; let us be in the world and not of the world.  Let us HATE sin.  Love Jesus; embrace Him!  Allow Him to change you.  He can.  The blood Jesus, God Himslef, shed on a wooden cross was not shed because God felt like it.  By the blood of the Lamb, we are redeemed; we are forgiven of our sins!  Ask forgivness, be washed in the blood, Love your Redeemer, and Hate the sin from which you were freed.  By the blood of the Lamb, our minds can be transformed, our hearts can be made pure, and we can be healed. 
Do you truly want to see your family and friends saved from an eternity in Hell?  Are you really sick of living in sin throughout the week, asking for forgivness on Sunday, and then, running back to that sin on Monday?  Then, with all of your heart, ask the Lord to help you give up all of your sin.  Ask the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit so that you can have the strength to overcome.  If you ask this of the Lord and mean it with all of your heart, the Lord will help you.  You can be free, and maybe then, God will begin to heal us.
