My name is Deb, and I have been married to Jim for 24 years. We don't have any children, but we do have eight cats inside, and many more strays outside that we feed, and are in the process of spaying/neutering, which takes time since it costs money! We own our own business, growing mushrooms, and sell them to restaurants and distributors, and also at farm markets. My hobbies and interests include reading, music and singing, walking, making cards, gardening, and selling Avon. I belong to a very loving church, and feel blessed to have this church family.

I have worked as an activity director with the elderly population for 14 years. When I got burned out on that, I went back to school to study floral design, and worked for several years with a local florist. Then my husband and I built our greenhouse and started growing mushrooms, and I quit full time work to take care of that business.

I have so many favorite authors, but they all write Christian Fiction Suspense books. Kristen Heitzman, Gayle Roper, Margaret Daely, Valerie Hansen, Dee Henderson, Linda Hall, Colleen Coble...I could go on but you get the idea!
Television
Ok, I admit it, I love CSI shows. I love mysteries, and I at one time when I was a kid thought I might like to be the person that takes the fingerprints at crime scenes. I also love Cold Case and Without a Trace. And I am a huge fan of American Idol!
