| I was born and raised in Georgia. I married at age 17 and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to be with my Air Force husband. From there we moved to Mississippi, Germany, Louisiana, and Florida. It's funny how God always kept us in the South. I have two wonderful children, Rachel and Michael. I have been married 26 years. I have been teaching for 8 years, all in 4th grade. I like spending time with my family, just hanging out and being silly. We can have such a good time just being with one another. | Interests
|
| | Movies I have a wide range of movies that interest me. I like Heaven Can Wait, Gone with the Wind ( I am from GA after all), Remember the Titans (the best football movie ever), Shawshank Redemption, A League of Their Own, and anything Denzel Washington or Morgan Freeman are in. | | Music I like all kinds of music. I tend to like more types of music instead of a certain group or certain singer. I like 70's and 80's music. I also like Contemporary Christain music. | | Books I hate to say it but most of the books I read are chapter books for elementary age students. Since I teach 4th grade I am always trying to stay caught up on the latest books. | | Television My daughter has gotten me hooked on The Office and Grey's Anatomy. I also like Snapped on A&E. | |

view of downtown Denver in front of mountains, from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. This is probably the best view panoramic view of Denver I've seen.

You Might Be A School Teacher If ....
You believe the playground should be equipped with Ritalin salt lick.
You want to hit the next person who says, "Must be nice to work 8 to 3:30 and have summers off.
You can tell it's a full moon or if it going to rain, snow, hail.. anything!!! without ever looking outside.
When out in public, you feel the urge to snap your fingers at children you do not know and correct their behavior.
You laugh uncontrollably when people refer to the staff room as the "lounge."
Meeting a child's parent helps answers the question, "Why is this kid like this?"
