Facts about me....Well, I have been married to my husband Mark for 14 years (we were high school sweethearts) I have two daughters, Hailey (8) and Brittney (6) who have simply filled my life with more love than imagineable. I work as a Senior account Manager for an Incentive Company in Hazelwood, as well as selling Mary Kay (Would you like to schedule a facial?)
My hobbies include hanging out with family and friends, Singing Karaoke, Scrapbooking...I love to try new restaurants/foods as well as travel, although rarely get to go that often.
Personality traits about myself...Outgoing, fun, loving, dedicated, committed, faithful, good listener, and SMILEY...Very rarely will you see me without one....as Annie says, "you're never fully dressed without a smile."
I volunteer extrensively with the youth ministry at Morning Star (help lead the XL Girls small group, assist with THE GATHERING, Assist with 6:22 and whatever else comes up...chaperone, etc....) and LOVE IT!! Our kids are amazing, and I enjoy watching them get more connected to Christ...after all, it is the ONLY relationship that TRULY matters. My prayer for them is that each FALLS IN LOVE, HEAD OVER HEELS, with CHRIST now, and don't wait til they are my age.
| MoviesMovies...I LOVE movies..I would sit and watch movies all day long if you let me...and doesn't really matter what kind, or how many times I have already seen it....some of my favorites are listed above. My taste is every extreme...musicals, comedy, drama, etc...Not a big fan of horror movies, although I love a great mystery. | MusicMy love for music is ALL over the place.....Since some of my favorite (and worst) moments were during the 80's, I LOVE listening to 80's music. But, honestly, my ears are normally being filled with the Many Christian Cd's that I have, and you can usually find my radio dial on 91.1 WIBI. | BooksBooks....boy, lately I can't seem to get enough of them...as soon as I finish one I am picking up another...
I like ANYTHING by Max Lucado...he has to by far be one of my favorite authors...I have never read something by him that I didn't like.
However, to date, one of the most life changing books that I have read is "The Ragamuffin Gospel" by Brennan Manning. I never truly comprehended Grace, and how UNDESERVING I truly am.....
I have each of the books listed above if anyone would like to borrow them.
| | Television Honestly, I really don't watch tv all that often. I would much rather watch a good movie, or have my head stuck in a book.
But, on the rare occassion that I do watch tv, it is normally Disney Channel with the girls...(yes, I have become quite fond of Hannah Montana...) or some of the other things I enjoy would be CSI, Law and Order, PINKS! (Speed TV), and Miami Ink. |
