I want to take the opportunity to invite others to live for Christ. I can not deny what he has done for me. He has brought me out of a lot of situations and he has made me stronger. I have had 2 life changing events in my life that I would like to share with you. First, the night I will never forget. I was smoking an illegal substance with a friend from work and two ladies we had met. This was the first time I had ever smoked anything in my life. We were also drinking as well and all of a sudden my head started feeling like it was going to explode. I got up to go get something to drink and all of a sudden I fell out on the kitchen floor and my life flashed before my eyes. I could see when I was born and everything that I have ever done flashed before me. I thought I was going to die and from that day on, I have never ever done another illegal substance. After that event I knew I needed God in my life but I still turned him away. It took me until 2006 to finally give my life to Christ and that was in 2000 when that ordeal happened. Well after I got saved God took me through something else to test my faith. On October 2, 2006 I was involved in a car accident with my two kids in the back. I got t boned and the guy rammed into my door and glass from my window flew into my left eye. As a result, I have lost my left eye but thank God my 2 kids were OK. A lot of people have questioned why I was not that upset about losing my left eye including my wife and all I can say I have to give thanks to God for sparing my life and my right eye so I can still see but most importantly how he kept my kids from being harmed. When I looked at my car after the accident, the truck had come within inches from shattering the back window where my kids were sitting. That is how good God is. To those unbelievers out there, I implore you to try him for once in your life because he is the answer to all your problems. I also want to give a shot out to my wife because she has been that "HOLY GHOST GIRL" that I needed in my life. Sheeda, I want to say thank you for everything you have done for me and also for being my wife, bearing my children and also for just being a true woman of God. That is such an amazing testimony of how good God can be to each of us. I believe you have to go through something to have a testimony. Because there is always someone that just needs to know they are not the only one.
