Although we are by no means perfect, we are asking the right questions: "God what do you want us to be or become?" "God what would you have us to do?" If we will stay focused on those two key questions, God will show us how to live out our full kingdom potential. If you are looking for a warm family of believers among whom you can live a useful, committed life of discipleship, I invite you to come and check us out. Upward is an evangelistic non-denominational sports ministry for children K-6 that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem. Puppet MinistryWe are fortunate to have a fun and vibrant puppet ministry at Enon, often making presentations during our children's sermon time. All ages are welcome to join our team of puppeteers.

"Water Walkers" Creative Movement TeamIf you enjoy drama and movement, come join one of our newest ministry teams. We meet every other Sunday evening 5:00-7:00 and are looking for males and females, youth and adults who would like to join us!

Enon Baptist has been a witness for Jesus Christ in Rowan County for 107 years. We have a rich history and heritage, but as you can tell from our homepage, we are reaching out to our community in new ways to all kinds of people. The two most recent examples of this are the Motorcycle Ministry started this church year and Rowan County's first Upward soccer program (First Baptist had the first Upward basketball program). We have also refurbished our softball field and plan to start adult softball games in the near future.
As you can see, Enon is not only a great church to visit with all of its ministry and fellowship opportunities, but it's also a great church family to join. Come visit us on Sunday sometime and see for yourself. There just might be a place for you at Enon!

Being part of a group of Christian believers is very important to my wife, Lou, and me. We find fellowship and support among our friends at Enon Baptist Church. It is a joy to work for God and seek ways to serve Him in our community following the leadership of our pastor, Dr. Kip Mobley. So, I place my comments here on this site as I venture into this new internet activity that some industrious Christians have created, both outside and inside Enon, for the purpose of enhancing the fellowship we already have.

I love Enon, Enon is a fun place to go to relax and worship our God. We have a good pastor who cares about missions and reaching out to the community. Come join us.

The Wednesday evening study on How We Got the Bible is one of the most interesting studies I have been a part of in a church. This study is comparable more to seminary studies than to either Sunday School lessons or sermons, but there's no tuition fees or driving time! We are so fortunate to have someone like Pastor Kip who can lead in such an indepth study! Guests are welcome to join us!
