This week has had it's ups and downs…..it basically just been our average roller coaster! Sunday- we went to church as a family and then went out with some of Mark's Aunts and his Uncle. The service was great and we are looking forward to going again and checking out Sunday School! Monday- The kids were playing outside and having a great time. Rachel looked out the kitchen window to see Cooper's bare butt standing in the driveway. He had dropped his pants and was going pee! His reasoning was "Mema (my grandmother) said it's o.k." Tuesday- I had a Dr.'s appointment and came home not feeling all that great and slept till about 4p.m. Wednesday- Mark and I finally had a day off together! We just sat around and watched movies. It was fairly uneventful, which is not normal in this house! Thursday- I had to go to the hospital to have some testing done- I wasn't a happy camper when I had to fast for 8 hours and then 1 hour before one of the procedures I had to drink 32 ounces of water and 'hold it.' So on the way home I thought the car was acting weird. When I got home I told Mark about it being 'weird' and he finally got tired of trying to decipher what in the world I was talking about o he drove it a little……GUESS WHO NEEDS A NEW TRANSMISSION!!!!! Friday- After talking about what we were going to do about the 'car situation' we finally came to a conclusion, and were thankful that things are going to work out. So after we got that 'fire' put out we moved on to the next project….cleaning out the garage and moving the rest of the our stuff into storage. So we called grandpa and went and picked up his trailer and on the way home the trailer started freaking out, and as Mark slowed down the trailer came loose of the truck and went careening INTO SOMEONE'S HOUSE!!!! (The hitch came off the ball AND one of the chains came un-welded!!!!!) Thankfully it didn't hit the guy's new truck, just the corner of his house. (The corner post of the siding and 8 foot of rain gutter will have to be replaced) The home owner wasn't home, but we left a note with the neighbor who saw the whole thing. Later on we had gotten home and the guy called and HE'S SUCH A JERK!!!!!!!!!! He started complaining about how much the siding costs and how big of a pain it's going to be to replace (Which isn't that big of a deal because Mark's grandpa is a contractor and could have it done in a few hours) So we told him that we'd do whatever was needed to have the problem fixed and he said o.k. So Mark went to work (he needed time to cool off) and he'd been gone MAYBE an hour when the police come knocking on the door…..THE GUY CALLED THE COPS. No one got a ticket, but we DID learn that Rachel's license plate AND insurance had lapsed. Good grief…..what a week…..
