Hi
Appreciate your letting me be a "member" of your church, albeit only online :). Some will remember my visit to you at the end of August when I met some of you after the service. I am still being blessed as I listen to your sermons each week and it just reminds me of the wonderful time I had in that one service. Ironically one of your sermons recently was about exactly that - first impressions by visitors, and I can tell you that mine was certainly very positive :). This is a wonderful way to feel connected to your church and who know's - the Lord may one day provide me with another opportunity to visit you again in the future.
Many blessings, Romayne (Belfast, N. Ireland, UK).

Here's some feedback from a MyChurch member. I hope others are receiving similar benefits!
"I love hearing the sermons and choir here on My Church and they continue to give me inspiration and guidance. Please give my regards to all. Thank you for everything you do."

First Baptist DC is a family. We laugh and cry together, pray together & listen to God and encourage one another in our earthly ministries. As lay ministers, there are an abundance of opportunities for members, visitors and friends alike to get involved within First Baptist and in the Washington community. All are welcome, all are blessed nd all are utilized if they are open to God's calling to missions and service here on earth. I am so grateful for my pastors and friends at First Baptist, DC.

Thank you to FBC for all the wonderful things you do for my children. They are learning about the Lord and their enthusiasm is inspiring. Thank you for making them feel valuable and loved every Sunday. We had a nice time at the picnic after worship today.

Greetings from a former FBC-DC member.
I moved from DC to Greenville, SC, a couple of years ago. I'm glad to have this chance to reconnect, in a way.

There aren't many red letter Baptists in Mississippi. I'm one of the few. I enjoy visiting FB DC's website often to hear Dr. Somerville. You all are lucky to have this guy in addition to being able to go to Sunday School with Al Gore. One day, I hope to visit your church when I'm in Washington. Thank you, Dr. Somerville, for your invitation to join this website.

After three and a half years abroad, it's great to be back at the church we consider 'home'!
FBC is a unique and eclectic faith community and we love being a part of it.

It feels so good to be back home, even if it's through cyberspace. When I moved back to New Jersey 3 years ago, I left my heart at First Baptist. I never found a church which filled me like First Baptist did.
Thank you Jim, for leading me back home.
Candace
(Now, if I could only find a way to be part of the choir again.)
