Mary calls me Bob, Melissa, Lauren and Wade call me Dad, and First Baptist Church calls me "Brother Bob." I get to preach to the greatest group of people! It is exciting to be pastor of a church that really wants to reach new people for Christ and minister in the community. I know that I can invite anybody to our church, and I mean anybody, and they will be welcomed.
We moved here in June 1999, when we worshiped in what is now the Memorial Chapel, and the new worship center was under construction. It's been fun to see the church grow over the years, and most of all, to see believers grow in the Lord during that same time.
I look forward to new ways of keeping connected through this site. As the ways of communicating change, we need to change with it. Yet we still proclaim the old, old story of Jesus and God's grace.
