About
Fellership is Practical We all have heard and used the word fellowship. Personally, I like the sound of the word fellership because it conveys an informal "country-fied" picture. Since Alice and I live out in the country, it kinda fits the local vernacular. I John 1:3 says, "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." To me, "fellership" is a flow of life one to another. In particular the flow of God's life - Spirit to spirit/spirit to Spirit. Fellership is a two-way flow. This is true concerning our fellership toward God, and His fellership toward us. It is also that same life flow cycle among us “fellers” (and fe-mellers), spirit to spirit toward other earthsuits on this planet. Practically speaking "fellership" is made possible by being sensitive to all those within our circle: workers, schoolmates, neighbors, kinfolk, friends and even strangers (to name a few). Jesus and His disciples got together with such and related to them on their own turf. Unfortunately "fellership" does have a limitation: time. But as to the who, where and how, it is limitless. It could be while standing in a bank line, in a vehicle, on a sidewalk, in a park, under a tree, in a hospital, while traveling and yes, even at "church. Informal settings seem to be the best (such as around the table), because we can be ourselves and let the Lord’s life flow out more spontaneously and intimately. Full story here. Unanswered questions are not nearly as dangerous as unquestioned answers. Here's a few of ours. Have you wondered, too?

I have read the testimonies and blogs and I must say I am glad to be a part of this "fellership". By the way, do you know what the definition of fellership is? Two or more fellers in the same ship! LOL

Howdy Charlie,

When you get time, we need to get caught up with each other. Vicki and I got to spend a week in Oklahoma visiting all our families (we are both from Oklahoma). We missed you during the holidays and hope all is well. Heard from Alice about her health and we'll keep her in our prayers.

Hope to hear from you soon, bro.

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him..Luke 5:1-11,

With the loving care I have received from Charlie, I feel like a part of this fellership, and hope I will be able to return that kindness when the time comes.

Mmmm. Got here! Finally! I was looking through the pictures, wondering just what kind of a fellership this is . . . then I saw the group, gathered round the table, with what looks like some real wine in their glasses. Then, I quit wondering and joined up! Hello, you wonderful people. I'm glad Alice found me and brought this feller into the "ship" with all the rest of you. May God bless you richly! We know there’s something more. We sense it, we feel it, we know it. And we want it. We want an authentic spirituality. ~Rob Bell I love this quote. Alice

This is the best church you can go to for tackling those far-out questions that no one else will touch.
