A Very Brief Bio


My life goal is to communicate God's love with the world through my passion, teaching, life-style and tenacity. My world starts in my home with my husband and my three awesome girls. I am a homeschooling mom because of the value my husband and I place on our children. I hope someday to finish my undergraduate degree in English Education and go on to a Masters in Education and maybe even a Phd in something. I have a burning desire to travel the world preaching the gospel and to be used of God to set the captives free. I desire to put into my children God's heart for the lost. I want my home to be a sanctuary for all who enter. I strive to be all God has called, anointed, and appointed me to be.

I am a recovering bulimic and compulsive overeater. I meet with others weekly in NH and MA at the Christ-centered support groups I began for people of all ages with eating disorders. I struggled with bulimia in college, using laxatives and excessive exercise to purge. Later I began compulsively overeating, as the desire for more frequent binging took hold. In 1991 I began a walk in victory over both of my eating disorders only to slide back into them in 1996. The nine years that followed destroyed my self esteem as my eating and purging spiraled out of control. From 1996 until 2004 I struggled with bulimia, and I have now walked free from this bondage since October 2004. After reviewing my previous failures, I realized that without the support of others maintaining true victory would be impossible. With the application of that knowledge, in November of 2005 I began my journey of victory over compulsive overeating. Today I do my best to share a message of hope, deliverance, and freedom with those suffering from eating disorders, whether hidden or obvious. My desire is to see people set completely free from the eating disorders which have bound and crippled them and to help them experience a healthy, balanced, and more fruitful life.
