I grew up in a country church, where you knew everyone and if anyone was missing, someone went to check on them or call. Even with the large congregation here, it still has that same feeling. I recall when we first joined and were surprised with a premature son. We were new to the city and did not know anyone. The congregation came to our rescue and helped with everything, including referrals for everything, from car repairs to realtors. The pastor and his wife actually kept our son for several weeks and then helped us find someone to keep him so we would be able to work. That is something I will be forever grateful for and never forget. It's been almost 12 years and the feeling of "family" has not changed. Just that we have grown. So I will see you at church!

My name is Mozetta Hinton. I have been a member of Friendship for over 10 years. I found peace within myself when I joined and have continued to feel this inner peace. I am a member of the Senior and Gospel Chior.I enjoy both chiors because we learn new songs and enjoy being together. These two ministeries are my choices of work and I pray that the Lord will continue to bless and keep us and allow us to minister to the lost.
