Hi Everyone...Thought we would join MyChurch to get connected to more of our brothers and sisters that we maybe haven't had the chance to meet yet. We love VBF and praise God all the time for the wonderful body He has placed us in! We came to Valley in about 2001 after being a part of a very small church in Buttonwillow. Since we have been here, the main ministry we have been involved in is Cleansing Stream. God has GREATLY changed us and grown us through our involvement in this awesome ministry. It is truly a ministry everyone should go through at least once. Let me start by giving you a little bit of our family background. Gary grew up in Buttonwillow and lived there all his life until we moved to Bakersfield 4 years ago. I (Kim) was a Navy brat so I moved every 4 years until my dad retired and we moved to Bakersfield. Gary and I have been married for 29 years. We have 4 grown children....Brian, Brandon, Josh and Kara. Brian has a daughter, Samantha, who is 9 and comes to stay with Momo and Papa every chance she gets. Brandon married Bridget December 2006 in San Bernardino then they relocated to Bakersfield. Josh and Stacie have been married 3 years and have a daughter, Jamaica and a precious little boy, Lincoln who was born January 7th. Kara is our only daughter after having the three boys...so, you know the rest :c) Our family is one of the GREATEST blessings that God has given us. We look forward to meeting some new friends...so drop by and say "Hi" sometime.

In case you were wondering about the Hawaiian music.....I had the opportunity of living in Hawaii as a child and those are some of the best memories of my childhood. I sometimes feel, as Brudda Iz would say, that I am "Hawaiian at heart." I love all things Hawaiian....except poi ;c)

Hey so im not sure if you know me but Im sammy Aunt....I married Carlos....Anyways I took the kids to church last sunday or two sundays ago and I was suprised when sam knew so much about the church and GOD and worship music. I was so glad that someone has showed her how awesome God is she told me she goes all the time with you guys and I think thats sooo great!
