I'm the pastor of North Presbyterian Church and have been since January 2003. My wife's name in Meg, and we have three kids, Faith (1992), David (1993), and Grace (1995). I like to take pictures, care in wood and small stones, raise up house/office plants. I read a lot and write when I can make myself do it. I occasionally teach in the evening program at Elmira College. I do a little bit with my son's boy scout troop but not nearly as much as some of the other parents. I have trouble with details, organization, and planning. But I am pretty good at grasping the big picture and a vision for how things could and should be in God's plan. So, I need people around me who are gifted at working through the details, plans, and organization of turning vision and big picture into concrete reality. Lately, I'm having a lot of fun watching and encouraging my kids in sports and in their school work. Meg specializes in the math and sciences. I have helped my kids learn a lot about reading literature and writing essays, about languages and grammar, and about understanding the past.
