Greater Love - John 15:13 "Greater love has no man than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." What better example to teach us how to love one another than Jesus Christ. 2. Greater Lives - 1 John 4:4 "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." Greater lives are the real product of the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. 3. Greater Impact - John 14:12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father." We can impact our community, state, nation, and world based on this promise. Praying for Salvation Perhaps you are looking to make your life right with Christ. The way that we receive Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins is relatively easy for us. The Bible records this truth in 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." You must ask God's forgiveness for your wrong doing, and be genuine in your repentance. Next, confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Go ahead and pray for Jesus to come inside.
