| I am sorry it has taken me so long update my blog, it seems everyday has just melts into the next. Over the summer I have been acting as captain for Capital City United of the ESSC the regular season is over and we placed third we are now in the playoffs and have won our first game. We are now off to the second round. The special thing about this team is that none of us knew each other before the season started, but now we are united by a common goal. CC United is going to be playing friendly matches with other clubs throughout Alberta during the upcoming indoor season. Proceeds from these matches will benefit the Canadian Cancer Society. We are looking for partners in our quest. Any help that can be given will be appreciated we are looking for players, sponsors, even your prayers. Please ask God to bless our efforts. I love you all. The weather here in Edmonton has begun a fairly consistent pattern as of late. Many days begin dark and gloomy, then the lighting begins to flash, the thunder begins to boom, shortly after this the storm starts. When the storm hits life can be disrupted, and you feel as if you are at the mercy of the storm. After awhile though the storm losses strength and passes over and without fail the sun begins to shine its beauty on the world. Things do look better the sun shines on them. Storms in our lives will come in heavy and loud, and they may make us feel powerless, but we must always remember that without fail the Son will always shine down upon us. | Thank you all who have prayed for my wife's grandmother. After a short hospital stay she is home and is taking solid food. Her doctor's have told her the cancer inside of her is strinking. Thank you Lord Jesus for your power and glory. Please keep the prayers coming.

| I ask all the fellow children of God to pray for wife's grandmother who is 75yrs old and currently locked in her 3rd battle with cancer. She is on an experimental medication that is making her very ill. Please pray that Jesus grants her peace and healing so she will be with us another 75yrs. Thank you.
