I thought I'd share this exceprt from a book I'm currently reading called Designing A LifeStyle That Pleases God by Pat Ennis & Lisa Tatlock.
If I speak to other women about their scriptural roles and responsibilities but lack the motivation to integrate the teaching into my life, I am arrogant (James 2:22-25).
And though I know about the women of the Bible and believe myself to be a devoted Christian but fail to emulate their model I am nothing (1 Corinthians 10:11).
If I pursue Christian ministry and stay up all night preparing a theologically correct Bible study but fail to develop the gentle and quiet spirit that is precious to my heavenly Father, my efforts are in vain (1 Peter 3:4).
A woman who is a Christian is gracious (Proverbs 11:16) even when others are not.
She believes that the verbal picture of God's ideal woman painted in Proverbs 31:10-31 is as relevant today as the day it was written and seek to emulate her qualities.
A woman who is a Christian gleans insight from the knowledge of Gods Word and seeks to become a Wise Women (Proverbs 2:17-21)
She takes seriously the mandate of Titus 2:3-5 and intentionally acquires godly Christians role models and seeks to be one to those younger in the faith.
As for professional contact, ultimately they will diminish in imporatance; as for speaking opportunities, they will be presented and the content eventually forgotten: as for strategic social events, they will occur and the memories will fade: but the woman who is a Christian prepares to face Gods plan for her future with confidence (Proverbs 31:25)
So, both the Christian Woman and the woman who is a Christian abide in the Christian community however, the woman who is a Christian cultivates a lifestyle that clearly displays that her values and character align with the Word of God.

I"m sick and tired of things happening with children that have profiles on myspace and myspace getting blamed for it.
this latest one with the girl that committed suicide. For those of you that don't know this girl was 13 years old with ADHD and suffering from deppression, her mom thought that since myspace had an age limit of 14 and her daughter would be 14 soon that it was alright for her to open a site if she monitored her while she was online. Well she allowed her thirteen year old to strike up a romantic relationship with a guy online and then he abrubtly broke up with her and started saying mean things to her. she was suppossedly so upset over this that she committed suicide. Come to find out that a little girls mom was pretending to be the boy so she could find out if the 13 year old was talking about her daughter. (not to say that was the right thing to do) So now the parents are blaming this woman and myspace saying they have to keep people off like that. and the mom should have known better. Now how many of you know that this girl was already on the edge and this little incident just pushed her over but they trying to lay the complete blame on myspace and the lady.
First off you can not blame a internet social site for anything that goes on once you decide to meet offline. It is out of their control. How can they ward againts sexual preditors, rapists, molestors, and stalkers. They cant it is up to us to use our own descression.

my pastor was talking about tolerance on Sunday and while he was talking he told a story of how this british teacher was somewhere i can't remember where but she let the one of her student name a project mohamed and the people of the country were ready to hang her for going against their religion but instead i think she only got 40 lashes or something like that.
I say this to ask why is it that we are so tolerant of everything but Christianity. We tolerate Homosexuality, we toleratate athiests, and other religions but we just can not tolerate Christianity and Christians are afraid to stand up for themselves and say yes I'm a Christian and I'm proud of it for fear of being persecuted by friends and family and by other people.
Me myself I make mistakes my friends call me hypocrite because I struggle with certain issues as sex, and praying. But you know what I'm still a Christian and I'm still saved.
Sorry just venting. I get tired of people not wanting to talk about God but we have to be willing to talk about everything they want to talk about.

| Hey all I have a new car it is a toyota corolla 2007 Lord knows I needed one I was spending more money getting my old one fixed than the car was worth. This one is payments 400 a month please pray for me that I can make the payments it should go down to 300 in 6 months when I refinance it. Any and all help would be appreciated. HEHEHEHE just kidding but I can use your prayers.
