| Okay, how much do you want to know? After all, 83 years (and counting) is a long time, and an autobiography would take a long, long, long, long time! I was born in Massachusetts, but have spent parts of my lifetime in Vermont, New Jersey, Illinois, D.C., Maryland, New York City, England, New York state, Arkansas, Indiana, Connecticut, Kansas, California and Missouri.
I got my BS in broadcasting, so I've been involved with putting two Christian radio stations on the air, including KLJC. I have an MS in journalism (go Jayhawks!), but that came after I had been a newspaper / magazine writer / editor for several years. And despite that, I worked the longest as a computer systems administrator and word-processing supervisor! That was just before retirement in 1996.
Norma Jean and I were married in 1950. We have three children, including Hal; 11 grandchildren, including Anna and Erin, plus three spouses; and a great-grandson. We joined Woods Chapel in 1998. I sang bass with the worship team and the Woods Men and also wrote the bulletin for several years. Now Hal and I team up to provide the Web site newsletter. Is that enough information about me? |
