In today's society we strive for something greater than our shelves. We strive to be known as some one of great importance or our lives mean nothing because we have not left a mark on this world. Yet look harder and there is our mark in the hearts of those who loved us. Fame is not all it is cracked up to be. Famous money out the wazoo people all around to adore me night and day. We see the fame as how much money i can get. Think that money is not going with you when you die it stays right here and does nothing but causes more bickering about who gets it. Why not strive for something you can take with you to heaven. Faith ,character love, passion, kind heart. these are the things i strive for. Alot of people only see the good of this world and it is a twisted view of good. Money is not a good thing how many people have died just because some one got greedy and had the bold ness enough to kill for it. How some people will rather stuff their own pockets full as they watch others work their hands to the bone trying just to servive in this world but are unable to make enough to support their faily so they are never around becacause their working so much yet some can sit on their buts and make alot of money. In your mind who would be the better person the lazy rich man or the fellow that works to save his family from starvation. Who would you want to be?
Personally i would be the one working to save my family because he cares enough to use his own hands and make an honest living. Society has gotten to sophisticated and civilized for its own good. People complian about the war, world hunger , the killing, but do they not see that it is all because some people try to keep it going because they are making money. The soilders are willingly fighting for their country because they believe there is somthing worth protecting on that land they call home. Yet the one who complains about it does nothing but complain. Have we forgotton those who died in the attacks on our nation because if they didn't they would not be complaing. were backwards we think that if we have the money we will be alright that money can fix anything. i would love to see money fix a broken heart when a loved one dies or when a parent has to watch there son or daughter die of cancer because they can't do anthing because there isn't enough money to help them. Why has this world gotten to were we can put a value on a human life and we see them as just another animal in a zoo that will do what its told if you wave something in front of it's face to do somthing to amuse you. Money was developed to make trading equal among nations so other nations didn't think they were being jipped for something. Governments print money as if ti were nothing ,but there is gold and silver stocked piled to make it worth something. Money is bartering with cows and pigs and chickens in a better manner. People have gotten more worried if there is not money in the bank that the world will fall apart. Yet jesus survived very well with not bying into the whole money thing he even showed people who based their entire existance that money is nothing. Humans are more inportant than a piece of gold because gold will rust and be gone but people will not for there love lasts generations. We celebrate in birth but morn in death. Yes celebrate new life. i have a second cousin that i am help watch as i am writing this. But do we see what they are being born into this twisted backwards world. Where a piece of paper will mean more to it then life. Not saying this to try to scare you into not haveing children ,but it does mean if we do have children you better teach them that beliving in God and his teaching are more improtant than the teaching of this earth. We also morn in death why the person that died does not have to deal with this twisted messed up world we live in and they are standing with God looking down on us and saying some day i will see you again. Yet we cry because they are gone rejoice they are gone And are with the lord. Yes be said in there leaving but it is only for a short while. We will be reuntied with them when our times comes to see the lord. And that is why we need to stay in the faith so we can see our family again in heaven.
So in say this world we live in is messed up and we strive for somthing that cannot be taken with us when we die. Strive for somthing good God the lord and savior and teach others about him and lead them to somthing great.

Leviticus 26:5-7
5 Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land. 6 " 'I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove savage beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. 7 You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.
Do you notice that every one prays for peace ,but the only one who do anything to try to have peace are the ones who minipluate peace in to some thing that is forced not accetped Then there is the true ginuine people who wish foe peace and have learned that peace can only be accepted only till the basics needs of the person is met first. Whe can talk about peace but there will be no peace untill we get up off our houtty toutty buts and do something about it. Feed those who are less fortunate when the needs of the people are met and they dont feel threatend by other will there be peace and yes even as writing this i am a hipocrite it is as much as a kick in the pants as a rant for others. In reading this passage it shows that there is never a true scence of peace in the world because humans have wicked hearts not saying every one has a wicked heart but if there is still a wicked heart out there in the world even if there is peace amongst the land there will never be true peace. Until all now of the glory of God and his greatness there will be no peace for the nations. That day will come ,but i probably will not see that day on earth because i will be with the lord when that day comes. There are so many people that don't know of God and we need to share that to the people. We know that some will turn at the sight ,but there are those who will embrace it and try to help in the belifs of God. This does not mean give up on those who have truned from it. Life will find a way God is that way show it in your actions,words,thoughts and you outlook. God knows all and sees all you maythink you can keep that secrect from God but he knew of the secret before it was even a thought in your mind. When we try to hide our actions will we lie to those we are trying to save. Give it your all and never look back. YESTERDAY IS HISTORY TOMMORROW IS A MYSTERY BUT TODAY IS A GIFT THAT IS WHY THEY CALL IT THE PRESENT. Don't waste Gods gift to you use it to honor him always and share his gift of eternal life with others. peace is one of those gifts not to fear but to embrace God and stand up for what you believe in. STAND UP FOR GOD DON'T BE ASHEMED TO CALL YOURSELF A CHRISTIAN CHRIST I AM

Tears ,a heavy heart ,body stricken with pain, rain drops what do these have in common. Everything they fall when there own structure can no longer support the weight. Every one somtime in their life has felt the effect of one of these things. When your hurt do you stand there in pain or do you fall to your knees crying tryting tio figure out why this is happening , why me God , why now , how do i fix this. Question that rattle the brain. As christians we know it will be a hard road ahead and it will not get any easier as we travel it. When your fell as God has given up on you we've felt before God has never given up on you he is the one caring you through the pain and strife. Being a christian is like a field there has to be some one working the field ans there needs to be seeds to grow. We can put the seeds in the nice little row and that all we have control over. God takes care of the rest. God sends the rain to grow the crops in the field that you've sown. How you worked it deppends on how it grows. When we fall to the ground in pain or in anger then blame God for our mistakes that it is all his fault that this is happening. We need to take a step back and see that we did not sown the field as God instructed us to do in the first place. We tried to do it our way and we know that out come bye bye. If you planted the field has God instructed you to ,you can see the beautiful crop that you are growing. All it needs is to be help by weeding(sin) and by asking God to send the rain. 2 Samuel 23:4 4 he is like the light of morning at sunrise
on a cloudless morning,
like the brightness after rain
that brings the grass from the earth.'
If you pay attention to God there is always good after the bad. When fires brrak out and destroy a forest all we can see as humans ie=s the destruction that the fire has caused. God sees the even more beautiful land scape that will come after the fire. Remember a forest does not grow overnight and we will not see the true picture until Gos says it is done ,but even then we want to make changes to his creation and in doing so we have set the forest ablaze again because we think we know better than God hmm we are never close to Gods knoledge and understanding of or action. If you knew the consequnces before you did whatever is it worth it do do it in the first place even if you hurt yourself and your friends in the process?
Kings 8:35-36
35 "When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and confess your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them, 36 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance.
As christians when well fall to our kness in pain or in repentance we need to see God and face what ever it is God has planned for you and your life. God never turned his back on you he just picked you up and put you on his shoulders and said"look this is what i have planned for you ,yes it will be a hard one ,but in the end you will be proud of the person that you have become and you will see it in the people that know you and loved youas i love you unto no end. As we fall with heavy hearts and broken bodies we need to repent and ask God for forgiveness and see that God never left you he was always at your side trying to guide you.
Final thought A ocean was not made over night it all started with a drop of rain. One sin can start somthing of many sizes we just need to know when to ask God for the Son he has sent for us the help stop the sea of pain before it begins because when it gets to big there is no longer help but to contain the sea so it does not start another sea of pain in someone else.

Philemon 1:5-7 (New International Version)5because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. 6I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. 7Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
If we follow GOD we need to share our faith with others. Christian can't be a stone on the shorline of the people who need to see. God we need the to be picked up by God and fill with the spirt and be cast into the lake were the souls of the unbelevers are and show them that there is more to life than being a lake following the moon (Sin of this world) only one sin will make you unclean so show them that. When we are cast into the lake that we do not need to follow the moon we have God to follow.
Thought Oil in a lake can effect the nature of the lake. Kills trees because the oil has gotten into there root system and killing them fron the inside. Fish need water to breath if there is oil in there bodies killing from the inside. Sin is like this one drop can effect how you go about your day it may not be even visable from the outside ,but you can see the effect on the inside with you organs sriviling up from sickness only till its to late will you know what got you.The only way to get ridd of the oil is to clean it with soap(God love, faith, caring, hope) we can scrub and scrub to clean the oil away from our lives we can clean away the oil but not its effect that it has allready caused. That is were God loving for our souls comes in. God loved you so much that he sent the best cleaner of our sins to us Jesus and sesus washed all of it clean. Oil is sin and only one drop can make you sick, clean your self get rid of the oil. Crazy analogy it worked in my mind The ones to clean our souls of the oil is Christains and we need to get out there and share the best cleaner out there and wash our freinds and family and complete strangers clean of the oil. Start the cleaning inside then spread it to others 1 Thessalonians 3:9-11 (New International Version)9How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you? 10Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith. |

Last night in youth Jason talked about the clean and unclean(Matthew 7 1-18ish). About how washing the outside doesn't clean the inside. Same way when you surf the web on the computer. Are you looking or doing something clean? Nowadays it is harder to stay clean on the inside. With the media and Internet (junk its junk). Being clean on the inside means cleaning the stuff you do before you watch something or listen to that new song from rapper person or head banging rocker. Listening to junk or watching it will cause you to be unclean. The song stained Glass Masquerade (song 13 in my playlist if you want to listen) is hitting this head on. we put on this plastic fassade and fake the outside trying to look Godly to our "friends", but then church means nothing if you go not for God but for yourself and then it is a plastic place for you. Looks Good on the outside but what is there for you on the inside nothing. God has to be the heart of what ever you do. So you can rip apart that fake outside and show the true you. yeah you don't want to show what is on your heart because the world has part of it give it all to God because he put it there so you could live and show your works to the world show it to you friends and be apart of a better place stay separated from the worlds ways ,but show the world God light that can break through any thing  HUMBLE YOURSELF AT THE CROSS |
