Hopeful

Here are a few of my favorite things: Sunrises, sunsets, mountains, rivers and streams, the Pacific Ocean and little flowers of pink, purple and blue... I love to fellowship with my husband, drink coffee, write, read, talk to my granddaughter on the phone, play in my flowers, hold kittens, go on nature walks and hike when I have the energy and time. I enjoy a bit of crafting, scrap booking and decorating when the mood strikes me, too. I've always been a stay at home mom except for a brief time when I started my own house cleaning bussiness and I have home schooled my boys for most of my mom years. I want to be a writer when I grow up.

George MacDonald is my favorite author. I enjoy reading the revised editions of his fictional works- but not his fantasy. I also enjoy many of the classics but I especially have a sweet taste for classic books for little girls Like Heidi, Little Women, Polly Anna and Anne Of Green Gables.

I don't watch anything new on TV. I do enjoy old shows that are now available on DVD. I also find some fun old shows on Youtube! Christy, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Little House On The Prairie, Road To Avonlea
