First you will want to sign up for a personal profile. This is different from creating a church profile. To moderate a church on MyChurch, you first need a personal profile by signing up here
If you already found your church's page, you can also sign up through your church's profile. On the church profile page, click on the 'Join this church' link at the upper right next to the green arrow.
After you create (and verify) your account, add yourself to your church. Or if your church is not listed, submit your church here.
From your home page, you can send out quick invites to friends.
You can also check your address books to see if any of your friends are already on MyChurch. You might be surprised to see who found MyChurch before you did!
We’ve got a lot of churches listed on the site. Chances are your church is already in the database. But if you can’t find your church, submit it here. (you’ll need to register first)
After your church's information is submitted, please allow up to 2 working days before the church page is setup. Our wonderful admins review every single church that gets submitted. After the church page is ready, you’ll get an email.
To join your church's page, click on the 'Join this church' link on your church's profile page.
The moderator(s) of the church might require that he approves your membership first (depending on his settings). After that’s done, you’ll be able to connect with the other members through pics, bulletins, comments and more, woohoo!
Only the moderator(s) for your church can update the information.
If there is no moderator, you can apply to become one. After signing up for a personal account and adding yourself to your church’s page, click on the Moderate link of your church profile and apply.
Our thorough admins review every single moderator application to make sure you’re either a church staff member or that a church staff member is aware that you are applying to be moderator.
I am the pastor and want my church removed. How do I do this?
We’re sad to see you go, especially since visitors won’t be able to find you in the church map. But just contact us and we will remove your church completely.
