After joining, click on the Moderate menu link at the far upper right of your church profile, along the blue bar. Fill out the information requested - our hard-working admins will review your application and approve you if everything looks good.
If there are already moderators at your church, they will approve or reject future moderator applications.
Moderators are ideally church staff members. But anyone in the church can be a moderator as long as a church staff member is notified.
When you’re a moderator for your church, you can update your church's basic information and approve members and content posted by other members. You can also upload media and remove content.
Moderators of a church can also control how much power they have over their church. Some moderators let anyone in their church post anything. And some want to approve everything first.
Changing or removing the moderator for your church
Your church can have multiple moderators. Once a moderator’s in place, all future mod applications go to the first moderator who can then accept or reject a new mod.
If you’re the current moderator and don’t want to be anymore, just email us and we’ll remove your moderator status for you.
If you’re the pastor or a church staff member and want to remove a current moderator, get in touch with us. We’ll help you out if you promise to buy us coffee if we ever meet in person.
