You can change your account information, churches, privacy settings, email notifications, and profile from your Account Settings.
Specifically on the Account Settings menu, you can link your Facebook account, change your email/password, or even change your name and birthday (in case you somehow forgot your name and birthday when you signed up!)
You can control when you get emailed for things like a new friend request or a new post to your church's bulletin board. Go to your Email Notifications to set this:
You can upload up to 10 pictures and choose one of them as your profile picture. To upload, go to Edit Profile in the Account Settings and click 'New Photo'
Each picture should be 1MB or less in file size and be either a jpg, gif, or png file. After uploading, you can choose a picture to be your profile pic by
You can go to Edit Profile in the Account Settings to fill out the About section of your profile. You can also customize your profile by clicking on the "html" button
If you have a blog somewhere else, you can import your RSS feed into your MyChurch blog to automatically mirror your articles onto MyChurch. Some bloggers have told us that doing this increased their readership by 2X, and that their mirrored blog on MyChurch gets more comments than their original blog.
To set this up, click here and type in your RSS URL:
You can also enter your Twitter URL which automatically posts your blog title and URL to your Twitter. In the future, MyChurch will have status updates where your Twitter status can auto-update your MyChurch status.
Forgot your password? It happens to the best of us…just go to the login page, and click on ‘Forgot password' and this will send you an e-mail which will allow you to create a new password.
If another member is causing you grief, please report them. We have a zero tolerance policy on spam and any inappropriate messages, posts, or comments. To report a member, find and click on the 'report' link in the bottom-right corner of their profile:
You can also block any user from commenting on your blog or prayer posts by clicking on the 'block' link next to their comment:
From your Privacy settings page, you'll find a list of currently blocked users which you can unblock at any time.
We're sad to see you go, but we understand that MyChurch may not be for everyone. If you're sure you want to permanently remove your account, first log in and cancel here.
Note that once your account is cancelled, your profile, photos, and entire blog cannot be retrieved. This also includes everything you've posted to your church's profile.
