Good morning!
I just started reading an unbelievable book by Mike Yankoski, called "Under the Overpass."
I highly recommend you read it.
I'm really excited about what God is doing...may this vision of "being Christ" encompass the entire Church. May we know what to do. May we be willing to let God choose the sacrifice. So often God moves in us and we decide what we will sacrifice...what we will give. It's interesting how God grants vision and then tests the vessel to see if we will go off on our own plans and at our own speed, or if we will wait for Him and the next step. Often we catch the fire and then tell God, "OK we'll take it from here..." Wise is the man who hears the voice of God and then waits for further direction.

Hey everyone,
Just thinking about you guys and wanted to tell you.
We had a couple guys show up at the Coffeehouse last night to share their stories with me.
The transforming power of God is breath-taking...from where these guys were to the road they are on is incredible. Just hope they can find peace and strength in the body.
I've been hit lately with the concept of "unloading worry." Hope you make this week a "no-worry zone."

Today's the day!!!!!!!!!!
Today is birth day. May God's rich presence be obvious as you take it to the streets, going inside out to BE the church of Jesus Christ. May your reach always extend your grasp as the vision God has placed in your hearts grows to be the thing that He has planned for this portion of His church. You guys are amazing. When we started Convergence we felt a void in our hearts shaped like people we hadn't yet met. May you find some of those people today. We will be praying for you at the Coffeehouse today.

I think God always wants us to see the new things He is doing as a Living God. May we face life head-on with eyes wide open, amazed at the wonders He allows us to see and be a part of.

I like your perspective on ministry. We are rebuilding in the wake(literally) of the Katrina flooding. Our community is very different now, and so will be our ministry. It has even reshaped our building usage.
God is revealing some new ministry opportunities and made some of the former programs even more relevant.
These are exciting times!

This is awesome. It is amazing to me how God continues to spread his common vision to this generation...another process of reformation perhaps? May the church be in a continual process of reformation. This is your chazown, man! Your calling! Your vision! God will continue to make it burn inside as He transforms you and until He makes it happen through you and those whom He calls to join you. Stay true to Him and never let it be about you...never.
I'm so excited for you and what is in store for you and Kait as Inside Out Church becomes a reality. This is exactly what God put on out hearts here at Convergence.
