The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful life: A nice home, a great church family, a wonderful family, a committed and loving marriage, and 4 beautiful children. I thank God every single day for what He has given me--it brings me to tears to think of how I was saved from living such a wicked life all those years ago to the life I have now: I have been washed in the Blood of my Saviour Jesus Christ and I have been saved from my sins by His grace!!! Praise the Lord! Our oldest child Mindy is graduating high school this year and will be going to college to be in the medical field. She will be traveling to Ecuador this summer to be a missionary--this will be her 4th visit down there. This year Amanda is wanting to go with her. This will be Amanda's first trip as a missionary--she really feels the Lord has led her there, so pray for them that they may stay safe and that they will spread the gospel to everyone they meet. Our 3rd oldest, Brynn is truly a one of a kind. She is the sweetest thing, loves being a girl but can change into her camo and go hunting with her daddy in a second! Her hobby is collecting knives, and the child can paint her nails while counting her knives (over 80!)-- She is a girly-girl with a tomboy heart, and I love her to pieces! Christopher, our youngest, is nothing short of a miniature James. The boy loves NASCAR and can tell you in a second who drives what car, who the sponser and owner is, etc. EVERYTHING he does is racing--if I ask him to get me the scotch tape he'll ask me to time him--everything is a race. Watch out for him later on--I promise you WILL see his name and number on the tv one day!

Country,singing at church-- I love singing the OLD hymns!!, Some bluegrass/gospel, 80's music (yeah, I was an 80's girl!!), My daughter is getting me into contemporary Christian(rock?)--I'm not sure how you'd classify it--Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, etc. She's taking me to a Casting Crowns concert in March!! : ) I LOVE the band Harvest Wind...James is currently playing with them...if you'd like to hear some of their songs go to www.harvestwindband.com We are going to Nashville at the end of the month--they have been nominated for Best Band in Contemporary Bluegrass/Gospel at SPBGMA!!! We are all sooooo excited!!! I have to add here that I truly enjoy anything my husband and daughter Amanda play--James is an accomplished musician who has made his living traveling the world playing music before he was called into the ministry. Amanda is following in his footsteps and playing bluegrass/gospel. She is 14 and has played in gospel bands before. She is very talented and I know we aren't supposed to be prideful but it sure is hard when I see her playing on stage!!! After all, I AM her momma!! : )

I love Law and Order--all 3 of them! Anything on CourtTV is great--I love watching Nancy Grace too, but I don't get to often because I am the only one in the house who can stand her!! hee hee!!!
