About Me

My husband, Rory, and I have been married for 29 years. We have 3 children. Tiffany (27) is married and lives in Durham, North Carolina with her husband Thomas and dog, Diva. Tiffany is the manager of the Buckle store in one of the largest malls in North Carolina. Our son, Justin (21), lives in Oklahoma City and lays tile for a living. He has two dogs named Sadie and Kane. Our third child is Courtney (18), who just graduated from Santa Fe High School and will be attending UCO in the fall.

We moved to Oklahoma 7 years ago from Cody, Wyoming due to a transfer with Rory's job. We really miss the beautiful mountains, the wildlife, and the low population! However, we love our church here which has been a great source of support and encouragement in our lives!

My favorite things to do are read and study the Bible, sing, walk, and hang out with friends! I have been a part of Mary Kay Cosmetics for 12 years and really enjoy seeing women's lives transformed through our products and our career opportunity!

Movies

Yeah, yeah...so I'm a sucker for romantic comedies! But I also enjoy a good drama from time to time, too.

Music

My favorite music is Christian "pop" and I enjoy many different artists. However, Mark Schultz and Michael W. Smith are my two favorites in the male category, Point of Grace in the women's group category, and Casting Crowns and Phillips, Craig, and Dean are my two favorites in the men's group category. I don't really have a favorite female soloist although I really enjoy Tammy Trent and Nichole Nordeman among others.

Books

I'm not one to read much fiction, but I love the authors of the above books. Max Lucado is my all time favorite author and I have every adult book he's written except for his most recent, 3:16. He has such an incredible way of making deep Biblical truths easy to soak in and his words create such a love for our Lord and Savior in my heart and mind! My two most favorites of his books are "He Chose the Nails" and "A Love Worth Giving". Beth Moore is also one of my favorites not only for her Bible studies but for the books she's written. God has given her insights beyond what most of us will ever hope to have! My two favorites - "Get Out of that Pit" and "When Godly People Do Ungodly Things."

Television

I watch very little television but I do get VERY caught up in each season of "Dancing With the Stars." Rory and I have a "date" night and watch it together. (*_*) Who knew my macho husband would enjoy ballroom dancing so much! But it's fun and we always pick our favorites and I vote for both of us! I've gotten hooked on American Idol this season for the first time. It IS addictive, that's for sure!

we had such a great time at easter. thank you again for having us over. theres nothing like lots of laughter with good friends :) i try to keep david in line but after a while i just cant control my OWN orneriness very well huh? lol! truth be known, david kept ME in line but i wont admit that to him hee hee....i had a great joke to play on you guys but it will have to wait until you least expect it...it could be sunday...it could be next year...ya just never know MUUUUUaaaahahahahaha!

how's courtney doing? thats just awful about her allergic reaction! is she better? did you figure out what caused it? you have such a beautiful family, jennie. we all know you are the beauty and brains behind the operation there *wink* *wink*....hope rory didnt have too much "easter bunny carcass" clean up duty :)
