About Me

Here's a little about me. I am happily married to my soulmate Danny who is an Army Apache Maintenance Test Pilot. We have been married for >11years now. We bought a house & expanded our family. We thought we might be here a while but looks like we are moving after next deployment. For now Danny is in AL finishing the Maintenance Test Pilot Program, then off to CA for annual training. He will be home in May. Nothing exciting to report in the life of a military wife.
Our miracle baby is Sarah Jolisa, (born September 11, 2006); We call her our miracle because we were married for >10 years & never prevented pregnancy. We were supposed to have to do Insemination or IVF to have a baby but Sarah happend naturally by the grace of God.
We also have a 90lb dog that thinks he is a 5lb lap dog, his name is Stewie.
I grew up in a Christian home raised on values of Catholicism. My husband was raised on values of Baptist. Danny considered converting to Catholicism but we didn't want to wait to get married, that's the honest truth. So we went to the Baptist Church his family attended & I was saved in the Baptist Church when I was 21yo. We got married in the same church. We have been attending either a Non Denominational or a Baptist Church since we got married. To us, what matters is that we are Christians & live by the word of God.
We became members of the First Baptist Church of Rincon end of 2007. We love the church & what I love best is how everyone makes you feel like family.

Interests

Love spending time w/ my husband & daughter; Reading books; Saltwater Aquarium Enthusiast (for > 11 years now); watch anything healthcare related; love soccer (don't play anymore, but really miss it); play computer games online; Repelling (I do miss it); Playing on my keyboard (occasionally)

Music

There are so many more. Wow, I listen to a lot of different music including classical at rare moments. The only music I really don't listen to is jazz & oh yeah, I don't listen to Britney Spears. My favorite group since I was a kid is Def Lepard. Really, It just depends on the artist for each type of music.

Books

Obviously I like Stephen King. Yes, it's true. I am intrigued by his thoughts & writing. I have been reading & watching Stephen King since I was a kid. Also, you can tell from above, I am studying to continue on with my nursing education. Also, always been interested in psychology & children w/ Autism. Currently reading the Left Behind series.

Television

Pretty much watch most shows on Discovery or Discovery Health, The Science Channel; Survirorman rocks! Watch Bravo channel- I watch the show Top Chef, I'm so excited that it's back on! Also like to watch Animal Planet ; Golden Girls; Family Guy & Seinfield; American Idol; Smallville; The Biggest Loser; And Extreme Makeover Home Edition-is awesome the way they touch so many lives!. After working, I like comedy to make me laugh at the end of day, only a few serious shows I watch.
