While I had received Christ at the age of 13 (over 3 decades ago), it has really only been in recent years that my walk with the Lord Jesus has taken on so much depth and meaning. One experience that has greatly assisted in this was going through the HeartChange workshop in Oregon City (http://www.heartchange.org). As much as I love Space Mountain, this workshop is way more fun than Disneyland. I was no different than perhaps >98% of the HeartChange graduates in that I really did not want to go the first time (back in the 90's). It is one of those things where once I got there and made it past the first day, I got hooked. There God very tangibly showed His love to me and also gently informed me about the things that could no longer go unchanged in my life. Much healing has come to me from this small spiritual retreat. My journey since then has been much more interesting.

Interests
I enjoy ice skating, especially speedskating. I have skated competitively in the past and, Lord willing, I intend to do so as long as I can stand / skate on my own two legs.
Movies
The Matrix trilogy, Star Wars trilogy (IV to VI), The Game, most Frank Capra and early Peter Weir movies, Sound of Music, Miracle, Chariots of Fire and numerous other sports movies
Television
I don't watch TV. I was addicted to it as a teen. Now the only time I am looking through the glass is to see a video or watch the Olympics (okay, I also watch presidential election returns!). I guess YouTube does count technically as a form of TV. I don't do that too much either, but recently I was fascinated by some Penn and Teller acts and "Chinese Army Remix."
