My name is Jonathan Treiber, and I am from New York City and run a company called iBakeSale.com.
We strongly believe that social responsibility and good business practices go hand in hand. iBakeSale was founded in 2007
to make local community fundraising easy and rewarding.
We received some initial feedback from community moms who were frustrated with time-intensive fundraising activities they
did for their churches, such as bake-sales and raffles.
These
moms were intrigued by the shopping rewards program we were building
and thought it would be immensely helpful if they could use the
cash-back rewards to support their church. They
thought our program would be a great way for them to raise money for
their church without having to ask other members for
money or send their children door-to-door selling cookie dough,
wrapping paper, or raffle tickets.
iBakeSale answered this
dilemma by creating a fundraising program that allows community moms
and other fundraising activists to put down their cookie sheets and
take out their credit cards. Our stress-free and convenient fundraising
program allows consumers to take everyday purchases and turn the
savings through iBakeSale into grass-roots fundraising. Nothing could
be easier!
As you become more familiar with our business, we hope that you will share our passion for what we do.
