Josh:

Last week I was thinking about our string about posture at receiving communion.  I am much more inclined to understand the ruling, especially at papal masses.  I thought back to how people receiving communion from Pope Benedict at the last two papal masses I watched on television is a bit... a unconventional.  When I mentioned it to our normally easy-going parish priest at Easter Vigil, he called such behavior "disturbing and not right." The faithful forget that the priest (even if it is the Holy Father) is just a man who is holding THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in his fingers.  The faithful are more often focused on going "Beatlemania" on the Pope: swooning, kissing his ring/hands, substantially ignoring the Bread of Life.

If I was the Pope, and behavior such as that was my exclusive experience witnessing (when Cardinal to JP II) or distributing communion (when I myself was Pope), I sure would be making a change in the People of God's behavior upon being in the presence of Christ.  POV is important, and sometimes paramount.

How do you pimp your page so well? I've heard mine is hard to read because of the colors, but I totally got my style by accident. Can you gimme some pointers? :) Thanks.
Josh
