My kids are back to school. Their time of playful, free, and no scheduled days are over for now. Ya know what? They are really diving in and enjoying their time of learning. Since they had a whole summer to relax - they are ready to work hard again. I get excited when I see them learning something new. I love watching the lightbulb come on. They will store that new nugget for a lifetime, and guess what I am blessed to be a part of it!
I wonder how God feels when we finally "GET IT". Does He laugh at our facial expressions? Does He beam at us with such joy and pride? We have times of trial, tests, peace, healing, joy, encouragement,learning.... God is with us through every faze of our lives. He loves being a part of our discovery! He is an all-wise God who enjoys sharing His wisdom with us! Oh how I love being the "teacher's pet"!!! I can't wait to get to class(LIFE) mature in(LEARN) something new!

Hey, ya'll!! What have you been doing this summer?? Let's talk about our fun times!!
My family and I have been to Idlewild in PA, the Columbus Zoo, Cedar Point, visiting family and friends, shopping, visiting the library, swimming, playing outside, going to parks, etc....
We have enjoyed every last ounce of the warm weather. We still have 3 weeks left. Hallelujah!!

When we wait on God, who knows what will take place. Waitning requires some patience and definite trust in God on whom we are waiting. The Word tells us when we wait on the Lord we will mount up on wings like an eagle. God's promises always come in His time frame and not ours. He sends the answer when we need it--NOT want it. I am still trusting God for some promises whispered to my soul in prayer 20 years ago. I still trust Him and know He will answer!
I waited for 7 years for God to bless me with a wonderful God-fearing sensitive husband. Tim came into my life at just the right time. I graduated form college and was ready for a commitment for life. I prayed for my son for 1 year. I waited 6 years for my daughter. My healing for my shoulder took about 5 years and God used a surgeon to accomplish it. Our church is finally getting built and finished. That has taken a few years of sacrifice, prayer, and planning. Many have sought God for this blessing!
God has given wonderful answers to other more personal needs and desires too. He has helped me to forgive others, forgive myself, grieve the loss of loved ones, become bolder, have more confidence, become a transparent person, mother my children, love and learn with my spouse.....
This list could go on forever.....
As time goes on I know God will continue to help us see His promises fulfilled in our lives. But we must pray, obey and believe!
26:8 In the path of thy judgments, O LORD, we wait for thee; thy memorial name is the desire of our soul.

When God's people pray........ ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN !!! The early church prayed about many things. They lived under the fear of being killed for the Gospel. They still taught, fasted, prayed, and fellowshipped daily. They had a burning desire to stay close to Jesus and tell everyone about Him!
When God hears, forgives, and heals...... We are changed, others are changed! No more weight of guilt and sin, no more sickness or disease, and God listens to us! Whew! God is sooooo awesome!!
God loves to fulfill His promises. We must seek Him so He can do His great work in us, through us, and among us! He has fulfilled His Word in the past and He will fulfill it even now, when we obey 2 Chronicles 7:14.
7:14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

| Did you know that I fall and fail? I sin and don't do as I should sometimes. But God's grace is sufficient! His blood covers and washes away my sins. God does not throw me aside when I fall. He picks me up and carries me through the failure! He is so faithful to me. He has NEVER failed me! Even when I am hurting, struggling, or discouraged, He waits on me with open arms and tender love. God is so good to me. He is a worthy Savior! I cannot thank Jesus enough for His forgiveness, redemption, and unfailing love!!
