Growing up in the South I always longed for a better life, the small town atmosphere never suited me. Upon graduation from Grambling State University I relocated to Chicago Illinois to begin my fresh start in the “big city”. I found Chicago to be a wonderful city for several reasons. First, I was able to prove to myself I could truly function on my own in the top three.
In addition, I was blessed to find one of the best churches in the world to call home; Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Maywood Illinois, Pastor Marvin E. Wiley. Under his teachings I learned so much about the Lord but most of all myself. Chicago was a very down to earth city filled with laid back people. I felt at home there, I guess because a lot of the residents were originally from the South also. Though the years brought me joy, there still seemed to be something missing. Deep inside I longed to follow my passion in life, writing. Therefore I stepped out on faith, quit my job and relocated to New York City. I can honestly say this was one of the best decisions I could have ever made. I have a new church family, World Changers Church New York, Pastors Creflo & Taffi Dollar of World Changers International. As a newcomer to NYC the Lord sensed my need for an annointed place to worship. I love my Pastors more & more with each passing day. For once I feel whole and cannot wait to see where this crazy journey we call life is going to take me. I have been through hell & back regarding various aspects of my life but in the end I’m still standing. I am ready to take this world by storm; I hope it’s ready for me.
With the Lord on my side I cannot be denied.
That's me in a nutshell, anything else just ask
