You know its amazing that these high profile athletes never speak on the goodness of the Lord when they are exalted but then "find" Jesus when they are exonerated. But I suppose its human nature for us to lose sight of who is truly blessing us. I can testify. Sometimes God puts us through turbulence so that we may form a closer relationship with Him.
Im happy for Vick that he found Jesus now but really shouldve already had the relationship when everything was going great but now he is playing "catch up" with the Lord. You are right, time will speak of his sincerity on his new found relationship with the Lord. I hope this is not a ploy for the media to play the religion card as a matter of convenience to clean up his image because he got busted.
We are all works in progress and no one is exempt from being led astray but Vick shouldve acted more responsibly, He was wanting for nothing, Vick spit in God's face by purposely killing dogs.
