It is an awesome little church of about 100 people. I have been a Christian since I was 11 and have focused mostly on Children's ministry over the past ten years with my husband and two sons. Now that my kid's have grown up a bit I am trying to be more focused on 'my purpose' and how God can use me best - which I believe is by helping others to turn to God for healing through journaling and through art. My main focus has been on my Art Journal Blog that will hopefully help others to allow God to walk through their journey with them as they journal about their lives creatively, artistically. The older I get the closer to God I become and He continues to teach me more everyday - He is truly an awesome God.
| | Interests God has made me a creative sort and therewith lay my interests; I love painting, drawing, crafting cards and scrapbooks, beading, writing, reading etc. | | Movies My favorite movies are definitely on the romantic side; Ever After, Cinderella, Ella Enchanted, Pride and Prejudice. I have quite a collection of romances since I am surrounded by boys and my husband who tend to like action movies and suspenseful movies. | | Music Music has been deeply engrained within me from my family... however, their musical abilities skipped over me and left me a non-talented musician. I listen to many different sorts of music... mostly of Christian worship variety. I am enveloped by His Spirit when listening and singing His praises. | BooksMy favorite authors are Dee Henderson, Terri Blackstock, Frank E. Peretti, Karen Kingsbury, Ted Dekker (awesome). I would like to write like any of these authors one day! | | Television As for T.V. I don't watch much t.v. but when I do, I like CSI: Regular show, Law and Order, NCIS etc. I did get into Gilmore Girls however I didn't want to schedule my life around t.v. for when the show was on. So now... if a show is on and I happen to see it then fine, if not, oh well. |

Hello Friends...I am on My Church for a while now, I rarely have a lot of time to write but this is a very important work situation, My associate teacher has made it imperative that I go to 2 higher up supervisors, Our class is a wreck. I have taught for 24 years and she 2. I feel she is mis-matched for the work we do as she also had a TBI Traumatic Brain Injury, since the nature of my work is confidential ,I pray, and confide in no one, one parent is praying and I am nervous of it.And one other parent has told me she doesn't want this woman gay person in the class. What should I do? She threatened me to hit me almost a month ago and i reported it, I had done nothing but return from a funeral. She lied and said she was joking??? I know she was not.I knew her in some capacity as a colleague last year but not in my class.
My supervisor said she watches and I beleive she is about to suggest one of us leave. I do not believe I have done anything to this person, but know that since she is disabled, its a sticky situation, my word against hers. If parents act funny, which they do,I have to try and keep the peace. I know God qualified me, she has even said I am not a true christian and that christians can judge each other...that is not what my bible says....do you guys think the brain injury from her past could be doing some of this, or is the enemy of our souls just at work doing eveil to me??? I pray the Lord will intervene and allow my job to stay in tact and my Masters Work to continue, I love children and have 3 of our own.
