There will be an installation service for Pastor Kevin with guest worship leaders from Faith Country Chapel. Pastor Brian Hammond will bring the message and Dr. Harold Thompson will preside over the installation. A time of fellowship will follow.

Sarah Palin. It is a name that, just might be preceded by the title Vice President.
I stayed awake last night just to hear this Sarah Palin lady. I read quite a bit about her on the Internet, but let's be honest, knowing what to believe on the Internet can be a little tricky at best! So I determined in my mind to hear her...what she has to say...hear what she holds dear...what matters to her. I wanted to hear from her what her values are...what she believes to be important.
This is what I heard...ME! I am not as eloquent in speech as she was last night, but the ideals she spoke of are what I hold dear. If I could speak what it is I want from my Government...well...she said it. Those were the values and ideals that led me to work the campaign for Ron Reagan before I was old enough to vote. Those are the reasons I am a GOP. The absence of these ideals as of late are the reason I almost left the GOP. It is about time the Republican Party brings to the forefront the people that hold dear the ideals the GOP was built on.
As I watched this intelligent woman exude a confidence that is rarely seen in politics...and I do not just mean in women...I mean in all of politics. She knows what she believes and believes what she says...I like that.
I still am a little worried about the idea that McCain is on the ticket...don't get me wrong...I still believe he is a liberal in conservative clothing. I will vote for Palin for VP and John McCain will get my vote by default.
John McCain may not win this election...that is yet to be determined. I hope he does. I do not think we (the U. S. of A.) can take Barak Hussein Obama as President.
So I pray that John McCain wins this election. Because I think Sarah Palin in Washington D.C. is the best opportunity for change that is positive and effective for the future of this country. If not, I am not too worried, because someday, that name, Sarah Palin will be preceded by the title President.
So Here's The Thought....
Sarah Palin is one hot candidate for VP...go ahead and interpret how you want...you will anyway....LOL

 Alright, so out of nowhere I get this text talking about this "great book" that I "must read", because it is "the thing" to read right now.
Well, my family and I are moving and I really do not have the time to read another book right at the moment, so I politely reply to the texter that I will get it sometime soon and read it. I meant it, I will get the book and read it soon.
The texter takes me to lunch on Tuesday and after a lunch of speaking about the book, we venture off to Purgatory (Wal-Mart) and he purchases 4 or 5 copies of this book for the church library, (this man is a pastor).
As we are walking out of Purgatory (Wal-Mart), he hands me a copy and says, "This is a loaner, I need it back for the church library!". Now, since I am moving and all that other stuff that goes on in the life of a family of five, I decided I would read a chapter or two a day and just send the book back when I was through with it.
I am done reading it. I sat on the front porch and read it, then moved to the recliner and read it some more, and even read it at the kitchen table...but I read it. Every last word!
This book is quite possibly one of the best books written by man. William P. Young takes you on a journey of exploring who God is and as you learn who God is you can begin to discover who you are. To know yourself, and to be comfortable you must first know "Papa, Jesus, and Sarayu".
You must be prepared to put aside all your religious ideas to read this book. Relationship is what Papa wants not religion.
I do not want to ruin anything for you...just know this, I read the book and it truly is a "great book", "a must read", and it is "the thing" to teach us what it is we need to learn.
So here's the thought...
If a person, that you trust, texts you about a book that he/she says is a "great book"....just read it....make the time and read it!
Thanks Brian it truly is a Great book, I will return this one and buy my own copy-maybe a few for the church library at CCPR. This is going to be another yearly read book for this preacher/son of God/brother, but not christian...LOL
