| Apostle Terence A. Townsend was born and raised in Temple, TX. Raised in a single parent household by his mother, Paula S. Townsend, he attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. C. Edward Maze. Terence received his license to Minister the Gospel, at the age of 18, in May of 1991 and graduated from Temple High School the same year. Since then He has served with many ministries, including church start-ups, as a vital part of their growth and programming.
Terence moved to Dallas to work and attend school. While there, He served as a founding member of Sons Of God Ministry Inc. which was led by then Pastor Pamela J. Payne. Sons Of God Ministry was covered by New Horizon Ministries of Richmond, VA; through whom Terence received his ordination.
Terence met his future wife Jacqueline Townsend while on a business trip in Dallas, TX. They fell in love and married December 1999. Both Terence & Jacqueline love the Lord and felt a strong leading to serve in the Ministry of the Gospel of Christ.
In 2000, Terence was called to serve as youth pastor at Corinth Baptist Church, which is lead by their pastor, Dr. U.C. Barnes. After a year of service, God released Terence from this post with the instructions found in these verses of scripture: (Luke 9:1-6 KJV)
1) Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2) And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
3) And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
4) And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
5) And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6) And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where."
After that, Terence, being led of the Lord, founded Kingdom Builders Ministry as a non-denominational fellowship he has hosted in His home since April of 2001. Now, in efforts to obey the Word of God by making "full proof of His call", Terence established Kingdom Builders Ministry Network. KBMN is an outgrowth of Kingdom Builders Ministry. Through KBMN they help establish, build and mentor the growth of bible believing churches & ministries under the Kingdom Builders Ministry covering throughout the world.
The event is for Christian Leaders and their spouses. It's a One Day Enrichment Retreat encourage today's leaders as they pursue tomorrow's dreams.

Most recently, Terence has stepped out on a visionary work. He is the architect of a nationwide ministry organization targeting the “Urban Culture”. Save Our City Crusades & Conferences is the name of the organization to which Terence serves as President. “Save Our City” reaches out to ministry and community leaders across the U.S. with goal oriented ministry curriculum, in-depth leadership training conferences, leadership networking through online community building applications, targeted “urban culture” evangelistic techniques/ideas and by conducting community rallying crusade events across the nation; aimed at empowering youth and adults to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2002, Terence & Jacqueline founded TRU PRAISE Productions (http://www.trupraise.com). TRU PRAISE was born out of a desire to see Gospel Hip-Hop music reach the masses.
